There are circumstances that require the use of a tripod stabilizer to
prevent the cylinder from swaying under normal operation. These
circumstances include: - When stroke lengths exceed 240 inches.
- When harmonics are present due to higher stroke per minute speeds.
- In areas where high winds are present or expected.
